Extended Care Program

St. Rose of Lima School operates an Extended Care Program both before school, beginning at 7:00 a.m., and after school until 6:00 p.m. This program complements our primary purpose as a Catholic school, and is meant to provide safe and cost effect support to parents who need childcare outside of the normal school schedule. Only students enrolled in the school are eligible to participate.  Application forms are available in the main office and with the program coordinator.

After-school Program

St. Rose of Lima School offers an After-school Program everyday beginning at dismissal time until 6:00 p.m.  Any student not picked up by 3:00 p.m. will go to the After-school Program.

• Students in our daycare program are supervised during organized activities such as Homework Club and Technology Time in the computer lab
• Students are given a healthy snack and have play/fun time as well
• A Ping-Pong table, a Table Game Center (including Foosball!) and a new ceiling mounted LCD projector (for watching movies when all their homework is done) are now part of the program!

Parents picking up from the After-school Program must park and walk in to sign their child out of the program.  Parents with children in the program are required to submit the appropriate emergency information with child pick-up instructions.  The program is conducted on the school grounds.

The fees for the program are structured to be very reasonable and not meant to place a burden on either the families or the school.  A refrigerator is available for the use by the program and nutritious snacks are provided.  Several activities and games are offered in addition to supervised study time.  Disruptive behavior or conduct is grounds for dismissal from the program.  All students are signed in to the program after school dismissal and signed out by an adult listed on the emergency card.

Full-time: If your child(ren) is/are going to attend the the After-school Program on a full time basis, the fees must be included with tuition.
