Students in grades six, seven, and eight staff our school newspaper, The Panther Press. Any interested student are encouraged to join the newspaper staff and see his/her work published. Their leadership skills are nurtured as they write, edit, format and prepare their publication for press.
Eighth graders are eligible to become members of the Yearbook Committee and create this book of memories for the entire school. They take ownership in their book as they develop and design it from the cover to the last page. Working after school, they use the online tools provided by the publishing company to insert and size photographs and text, creating their own layout for each page.
