St. Rose has a successful after school sports program for boys and girls in grades five through eight. The fifth and sixth graders participate at the “B” level, competing in a developmental league. As seventh and eighth graders they form the “A” teams and play at a competitive level. Students can choose from football and volleyball in the fall, basketball in the winter, volleyball and softball in the spring. At the end of the year all student athletes and their parents are invited to the Sports Banquet in recognition of their efforts.
As part of the physical education program, students in grades three and above participate in the Presidential Physical Fitness Program. They work hard to earn the Presidential patch and certificate awarded to those who successfully complete the program, presented at the year-end honors assembly.

Students participate at the discretion of the principal. Through our sports program we hope to develop character, self-control, team spirit and good sportsmanship. For game schedules, see the school calendar.
